COURSE OBJECTIVES:  Naloxone, also known as NARCAN is an opioid antagonist used to reverse or reduce the effects of opioids.  This course was designed to educate the law enforcement community, and anyone else interested in knowing more about NARCAN.

The content of the course will cover Opioids and Opioid Overdose, Naloxone (NARCAN), National and State Statistics, Signs and Symptoms of Opioid Overdose, NARCAN Nasal Spray and How to use and/or administer a formulation of Naloxone (NARCAN).
