Gang expert Chris “Nasty” McAnulty presents the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang ID/Recognition Course, designed to help uniformed patrol officers, criminal/intelligence analysts, and detectives/investigators identify and understand outlaw motorcycle gangs and their members.

The course covers the history, culture, and structure of outlaw motorcycle gangs, legal definitions, identifiers such as colors, patches, support gear, tattoos, symbols, and insignia, as well as criminal activities, proper documentation, and officer safety. Participants will gain insight into the origins, operations, and behaviors of the most frequently encountered outlaw motorcycle gangs across the nation.

By the end of the course, attendees will be better equipped to identify outlaw motorcycle gang members and associates, support investigations, and strengthen the prosecution of outlaw motorcycle gang-related criminal activity.

This class is co-hosted by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office and the Southeast Texas Violent Crime Task Force.
