COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed for officers involved in high-risk structural clearances. Proficiency in Close Quarters Battle (CQB) is essential for today’s law enforcement professionals. Officers are increasingly facing subjects who are better trained and more violent than ever before. A solid understanding of CQB fundamentals is vital for any officer who may encounter such threats. Officers must be able to assess when dynamic or deliberate entries are appropriate and be equipped to perform the role of an entry officer in any operational environment.
